Travel Insurance

I have to confess that I used to ignore the need for a Travel Insurance for quite a while. I always thought that it was too expensive and I was sure nothing wrong would happen to me while travelling, if only I would be careful enough. Luckily, so far, nothing particularly bad or unpleasant has happened to me during my travels. But I have been becoming more aware over time, especially because of what I see happening to other travellers and the stories I hear and read about, that I’m vulnerable to every kind of misfortune that is out there. And I’m not only talking about health problems or accidents which I are usually the ones that first come to mind. I’m talking about thefts, equipment, documents and luggage losses as well as flights losses or missed connections.

Nowadays, I don’t go anywhere without a Travel Insurance. As soon as I am sure of my destination and travel dates, I do an insurance. And after reading a lot about it and taking in consideration other travellers opinions, I’ve always gone for World Nomads Travel Insurance.  It’s one of the most complete insurances out there with an extremely wide coverage. There are, of course, other options to chose from in terms of Travel Insurance, but I’ll be writing specifically about World Nomads since it’s the one I usually use and the one with the most positive reviews.

Below you’ll find some info that will give you an idea of the World Nomads Travel Insurance coverage and benefits. You’ll also be able to get an immediate quote for your next trip, if you’d like.
